My first day at my internship I got to design a Facebook fan page graphic for Compassion Connect, an awesome non-profit organization that's all about churches uniting to help their community. I think I went through four or five revisions on this before the final one.

Photography Watermark
This is a simple little watermark I made for Ariana Lopez's photography, by her request.
P.S. I didn't take this picture. I got it here.
And here is an example of how it could be used!

Can you dig it?
I'm working on a graphic design timeline of the 70s. It involves this. Maybe.
That's the first slide from the presentation we did. I might use it in some way in the timeline.

Reading Habits Infographic
This is an infographic about the reading habits of my class. We chose our subjects, surveyed each other for data, and decided how to organize it. We weren't allowed to use photos, but other than that, this assignment was pretty open-ended. I think it turned out pretty cool on paper :)

Mini Vroom Broom
For one project, my team had to make the Mini Vroom Broom the "Lexus of brooms" and explain how to use it in a video and on a leave-behind piece. I designed a package for the leave-behind. Here are views of the front and back of the package. The back is shown sideways so you can see the how-to better.

She Flies with Her Own Wings
For our final project, we made both horizontal and vertical brochures for a pretend event at the Oregon History Museum. We had a two-color budget, with no images allowed. These are the covers I made for mine.

New Blog Design!
I was tired of using one of the same old, same old preset blog themes, so I whipped up a little design of my own. It's not the greatest, but at least it's something :) This is redundant right now, since you can see the design already, but I thought it might be nice to look back on in the future.
Here are some of the backgrounds I thought about using. I'm not even going to show you my first header design, though.

Color Magazine
This project was to create two magazine spreads about color from templates my classmates and I made. We were given copy, some of which we were required to use. We were allowed to use two images that we didn't create ourselves.
Hummingbird Poster
One of my projects during my second term was creating a poster. I could only use Chaparral Pro font and an odd number of images from BibliOdyssey: Gould Hummingbirds.
Business Cards
An assignment I had during my first term was to make monograms for myself, and incorporate those monograms into business cards.
Line Portraits
One of my assignments in my first term at MHCC was to create simple, black and white, line portraits.
